On the women's side, Sweden had four skaters top four in the WC sprint, which meant that the national team management had to poke two of the world's best skaters for Sunday's sprint relay.

The fourth Linn Svahn got the last place for today's skiathlon, while the WC third Maja Dahlqvist scored zero when she was also poked in the sprint relay.

As expected, the team was the top duo Jonna Sundling and Emma Ribom.

On the men's side, Calle Halfvarsson, fifth in the sprint, gets the chance together with WC debutant Edvin Anger, who went out in the sprint quarter-finals after a fall.

The 20-year-old has lined up good positions during his debut season in the World Cup.
