The warm weather and loose forest led to several incidents during the men's WC skiathlon yesterday.

The worst was for Arsi Ruuskanen, who had to be taken to hospital by ambulance, where a leg injury, which puts an end to his WC, was found.

Now the track is being redone for the ladies' race today.

The advertising signs that were during the downhill where Ruuskanen crashed have been removed.

The Finnish national team was critical of the lack of shock absorbers at the site.

The number of soft cushions will also be more in the women's race as even warmer weather awaits.

- We had not installed any shock absorbers because the track is so wide there.

Neither we nor any of the national teams thought it was a risky place.

Now in retrospect, it would have been better if it had been there too, says Lamplot.

Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson are two gold favorites in the race over 15 kilometers which starts at 2 p.m.
