Sandviken has had desperate difficulty getting the ball into the quarter-final series against Edsbyn.

A 5–1 loss in the first game was followed by a 7–1 drubbing in the second.

Two results that meant they really had the knife to their throats ahead of the third game played on Saturday night.

A win was a must for it not to be over for the season - but despite that it looked just as bad.

Edsbyn took a relatively early 3-1 lead and then Sandviken couldn't get up.

In the end, Edsbyn won the match 6–3 after Sandviken cleaned up the numbers in the last five minutes of the match.
