Covid-19 meant that Tilda Johansson did not get the opportunity to go to the Biathlon World Cup as a replacement for Elvira Öberg when she was ill.

But after she got rid of the infection earlier this week, she was able to get on the plane across the Atlantic to Canadian Canmore, where there are competitions in the IBU Cup (the level below the World Cup) starting tomorrow.

"Tough to "live""

But once there, she felt that the covid era still affects her.

Substantial.

“The body is still struggling and is very weak.

Nowadays, it is hard to "live".

It's just to state that I'm not myself at the moment and it's very frustrating.

Whether there will be any start for me is extremely unclear," writes Johansson on Instagram.

Tilda Johansson leads the IBU Cup after 19 out of 22 competitions, and is therefore chasing an overall victory.

But if she misses this weekend's competitions, it could be difficult.

"Right now most things feel pointless and there is not much hope left in me.

But I do everything I can to give the body what it needs.

I still want to believe it's possible.

Day by day, hour by hour, that's how I get to live now," she writes.
