Sweden ends the World Cup qualifiers by facing Germany in Frankfurt on February 24 and then hosts Estonia on February 27 in the Baltic Hall in Malmö.

Håkansson, who is Sweden's biggest star and on a daily basis plays point guard in Spanish Bilbao, is standing over the games as a precautionary measure, the basketball association writes on Twitter.

Instead, Charles Barton Jr. is called in.

Sweden's chances of reaching the World Cup qualifiers are over, but the matches are still important to collect ranking points for future qualifiers.
