Sweden is honing in shape for this summer's WC – this time against really strong opposition.

It was an even affair where Sweden managed to keep Germany from great scoring chances.

And towards the end of the match, dream situations came to score the lead goal for Sweden.

First for Stina Blackstenius who was freed but failed to place the ball behind Merle Frohms in the German goal.

An even better situation came just a few minutes later when Madelen Janogy ran away to a free position and on the return Johanna Rytting Kaneryd almost had an open goal when the threatening Frohms was overplayed.

But then Rytting shot Kaneryd in the post.

There were no goals so the match ended 0-0 in Duisburg, Germany, in front of over 20,000 spectators.
