When the award ceremony took place, Tandrevold couldn't fully enjoy herself, instead she thought about the words on Norwegian television.
Even though it wasn't her words but something the fans relayed to her.
- When I was at the award ceremony, I couldn't enjoy it because I regretted saying the forbidden expression twice on TV.
It was because I was so emotional, Tandrevold tells NRK and emphasizes that she appreciates the fans' commitment and support.
Tandrevold finished by pulling past World Cup leader Julia Simon and securing the silver.
It didn't take much to reach the gold.
"Would have won if it had been a little longer"
- I felt that I was shooting for myself.
I wanted to show myself that I could do it and did the sprint lap for everyone who is cheering me on, says Tandrevold, who now has eight WC medals.
It was a nail biter to follow the final phase where Tandrevold chased Hanna Öberg.
- If the race had been a little longer, I think Tandrevold would have taken the gold, says NRK's expert Synnöve Solemdal.
