At 1-1 a little over halfway through the match, Viktor Arvidsson made it 2-1 for the visiting Kings, which was then followed up by a power play goal from Adrian Kempe for 3-1.

Kempe's 28th goal of the season (most on the Kings) and goal for the fourth game in a row.

Then in the third period, when the match stood and weighed, with a 4-3 lead for the Kings, Arvidsson stepped forward again and scored 5-3 from a tight angle.

Arvdisson now has 16 goals this season and was able to ensure the Kings won their third game in a row.

Zibanejad goalscorer in turnaround

Parallel in the night's NHL, Mika Zibanejad and the New York Rangers visited the Edmonton Oilers.

At first, everything seemed to go the home team's way.

3-0 after just over half of the first period played, where among others Mattias Janmark was responsible for an assist.

The Rangers hit back on the power play through Chris Kreider, played by Zibanejad.

But Edmonton regained the three-goal lead in a power play of its own, 4-1 from Leon Draisaitl after Connor McDavid's assist.

McDavid has now scored 101 points in 56 games this season.

But the Rangers didn't give up, they fought back and in the third period Mika Zibanejad was able to equalize to 4-4 in a game five against three.

The match then went to penalties where Rangers won after goalkeeper Igor Sjestiorkin saved five of six penalties and Alexis Lafreniere settled.

The Rangers now have seven straight wins.
