IBF Falun and Storvreta have subscribed to the latest SM golds.

Tonight they clashed in a battle for the league lead and it was the Uppsala team that emerged victorious from the battle.

In the second period, the guests went up to a 1-4 lead after Oskar Enquist and Tobias Gustafsson each scored a goal.

Falun, who have scored by far the most goals in SSL this season, had a hard time outsmarting the Storvreta defense and goalkeeper Måns Parsjö.

The home team certainly got closer in the third period and took out the goalkeeper at 4-5 with a few minutes left in regular match time.

Then Albin Sjögren scored 4-6 in an open goal cage and could decide the match.

In the end it was 4-7 after another goal in the open box.

Celebrating the comeback Mattias Samuelsson

The result meant that it was a success for Mattias Samuelsson, who was an expert in SVT during the last WC, in the comeback.

Storvreta now overtakes Falun in the table and is the new league leader, with two points ahead of the Dala team.

- He is still like a 20-year-old.

There is almost something wrong with the nature of that guy, says Storvreta's coach Mika Kohonen to SportExpressen Play about the 39-year-old who last played in 2021.

- I am proud of my boys.

We struggle a lot today.

If we can raise the game with the ball a little, we will be incredibly difficult to beat, he says.
