Real Madrid succeeded in taking advantage of the huge morale boost it received after winning the Club World Cup this week, and swept Elche 4-0 on Wednesday, in the 21st round of the Spanish Football League.

Before the start of the match, the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the royal stronghold, witnessed a celebration of the Club World Cup, which Real won last Saturday in Morocco.

The match began with a minute's silence for the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
