Sara Hector feels strong as she now hunts for medals at the WC.
It is long-awaited by the 30-year-old.
- I had a small dip and after that it wasn't completely right technically.
But now I think I'm starting to ride well, she says.
She talks about the competitions in the Austrian Semmering in the intervening days when, among other things, she went out in the giant slalom.
- I was mentally very tired around the Semmering competitions.
I had tough days there and felt like I had a very hard time focusing.
I wasn't really myself.
There I made an extreme fighting effort, she says and continues:
- After that, I had a small confidence dip.
It got pretty tough after that.
Today, Wednesday, the WC finals in parallel slalom will be decided.
Sara Hector was second fastest in qualifying.
