The Norwegian Ole Christian Veiby was in second place after two stage victories.

The distance to the 21-year-old Oliver Solberg was a whopping 31.4 seconds.

And it continued during the afternoon as well.

Solberg leads ahead of Sunday's decider in the Swedish Rally by 32.3 seconds, in eleventh time with both classes included.

The WRC class

In the WRC class, the Irishman Craig Been had the lead before lunch by two seconds over Ott Tänak.

The afternoon continued in the same vein with only 1.7 seconds between Been and Tänak and the Irishman is still in the lead.

Third-placed Esapekka Lappi drove off on ss13 and loses a lot of time.

Kalle Rovanperä, the reigning world champion and last year's winner in the Swedish rally, is in fourth place.

The Swedish rally continues on Sunday at 12:00-1:30 p.m. and is broadcast on SVT1.
