The Fifteen of France faces Ireland this Saturday afternoon in the second match of the Six Nations Tournament, less than a week after a sluggish victory against Italy.

A shock of the favorites which will put the Blues to the test, against an Irish team with a fast and precise game.

Does the clash of favorites have any surprises in store for us?

After a sluggish victory against Italy, France will face this Saturday afternoon the Irish team, feared in the Six Nations Tournament.

A major challenge awaits the Blues of the Quinze de France.

The French trained Friday afternoon at the Aviva Stadium.

The opportunity to take or resume their marks in a stadium where they had imposed themselves two years ago, during their last visit to Dublin.

But this Saturday, against an Irish team with a fast and precise game which occupies the first place in the world, the French do not consider themselves as favorites.

The Blues place themselves as challengers

Even with Antoine Dupont in their ranks, and even with their current record series of fourteen games won for a year and a half.

"We go there as challengers. They are the first in the world, they win against everyone. We know it's going to be a big fight. Afterwards, we beat them before, so we know we can do it. even if it is true that they are quite formidable at the moment", confides the experienced Gaël Fickou, in the position of three-quarter center.

That said, since Fabien Galthié took control of the Fifteen of France, the Irish have never beaten him: one defeat at home, two at Saint-Denis.

However, it will be hoped that the indiscipline shown by the Blues in Italy - 18 penalties conceded - will not be repeated today, at the risk of taking a correction made in Ireland.
