During the afternoon, the prince drove one of the stages of the Swedish Rally, a display at the Umeås sprint which is 5.16 kilometers long.

By his side in the car, Petter Solberg, world champion in rally in 2003 and double world champion in rallycross in 2014 and 2015.

- It's always fun, it was very fun to do it together with Petter but without notes and the first time in the car.

So it's special but great fun, says Prince Carl Philip to SVT Sport.

The prince also receives praise from experienced Solberg.

- Great fun, he's not afraid, nice car control, it would have been fun if I could have given him notes.
