34-year-old Okagbare, an Olympic medalist and two World Cup medalists, was banned last year for a full eleven years for dealing with doping products.

The harsh punishment came after she refused to cooperate with the investigators from the FBI.

According to US prosecutors, Okagbare has been in contact with a person who distributed doping products, something they proved through her mobile phone which was seized.

The phone contained information about "Active 1" and "Active 2".

In February, a one-man investigation concluded that Okagbare was ""Active 1".

Several investigations into the case

"Based on the information in the lawsuit, including text messages from Okagbare's cell phone by the FBI and additional evidence obtained from the AIU investigation, the AIU alleges that Oduduru is 'Active 2' as identified," the independent integrity unit AIU, linked to the International Association of Athletics Federations, wrote in a comment.

Divine Oduduru, training partner of Okagbare, belongs to the top tier of sprinters in the world with a personal best of 9.86 in the 100 meters and 19.73 in the 200.

The 26-year-old has continued to work out and posted clips and God-strengthening messages on Instagram.

None of the suspended athletes have been caught in any doping test except for the handling of prohibited products.
