On Thursday evening, Sweden hosts Israel away from home in the European Championship qualifiers, in what is the first of two fateful matches if the national team wants to reach the European Championships.

A win is required in both games, and the last time the teams met it was a loss.

Paulina Hersler, everyday in the London Lions, goes into the matches with good confidence.

- Yes, but Israel, yes, I mean we have played against them before and beaten them big with people from this squad.

So we know we have a chance to take them, she says.

- I played in Israel last year so I know many of the players.

They are absolutely talented, but we are at least as good so we can definitely take them.

What will be the hardest?

- Partially getting to stop certain individual players in their team.

Then it is also a challenge that we have many new players, are a new team, and haven't had much practice so we will have to honk and drive and not think much because we haven't had time for much preparation, says Paulina Hersler .

- We have to be aggressive, step up our defense and develop our attacking game better and there is absolutely a chance.
