The Court of Instruction number 3 of Madrid has filed the complaint filed by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) against Juan Rubiales, former chief of staff and uncle of President Luis Rubiales, in which he was accused of having leaked to the media , including El Mundo, confidential information from the body that runs Spanish football.
Through an order to which this newspaper has had access, it concludes that there are no indications on the part of Juan Rubiales, who was dismissed from his federal position for this reason, of a crime of discovering business secrets.
The judge's order also concludes that it has not been possible to prove that Juan Rubiales leaked the content of his nephew's phone to other media such as 'El Confidencial' and, therefore, agrees to dismiss the proceedings.
