After the first stretch by Eric Rosjö, Sweden was 13 seconds behind the Norwegian second team.

But Calle Halfvarsson, who drove the second leg, brought the Swedish team into the lead and they never let go.

There would be a duel between seven riders on the final stretch.

There was young Edvin Anger, 20, who has been successful in his debut season in the World Cup.

And he would once again show his sprint skills.

The Italian Federico Pellegrino could not be helped, but Anger sprinted down both Harald Östberg Amundsen and Sindre Björnestad Skar in the Norwegian first and second teams respectively.

Thus a surprising second place for Sweden - and a good message of form before the World Cup.

- The feelings are everywhere.

The boys have done so damn well today on all stages, I'm so damn proud, says coach Lars Ljung to TV6.
