The third round of the Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup was held in the United States on the 4th, and the men's Ruka Hirano and the women's Mitsuki Ono each won the Japanese team, achieving their second consecutive World Cup victory.

The snowboarding half-pipe is an event that competes for the height and difficulty of skill in the air with jumps called "air" while sliding on a course that is half a cylinder. The final of the battle was held.

Of these women, 18-year-old Ono, who represented last year's Beijing Olympics, scored high airs one after another in her first attempt, and successfully performed all of her landings.

Ono won the tournament with a high score of 90.75, continuing his winning streak following last month's second round of the World Cup.

In addition, Ruki Tomita finished in 4th place.

On the other hand, in the men's event, Hirano, who represented the Beijing Olympics, won the World Cup with a score of 91.50 in the second round.

As for the other Japanese players, Yuto Totsuka was 5th, Kaiho Hirano was 6th, and Raimu Katayama was 7th.
