In early November, Westman finished third in a World Cup event in ski jumping, the first time in 30 years that a Swede had finished on the podium, but after the jump that secured third place, the 22-year-old felt a sensation in his right knee.

There was concern about a cruciate ligament injury, but after a peephole operation it was found that "only" the meniscus needed to be repaired.

Westman hasn't jumped since.

- We have postponed the comeback until we made the decision that we will not run any more competitions before the WC, but put all our efforts into being one hundred until then, says Arén.

"No pressure"

The World Cup in Planica, Slovenia is just a few weeks away, February 22-March 5.

- Her latest physical tests showed basically 100 percent strength again.

She will jump for the first time next week.

The new facility in Trondheim is complete and has just opened so she has a dream facility in her backyard.

If everything works as it should, there will be full focus on the WC, says Arén.

- It can be quite exciting, the last time she was seen she was on the podium and hopefully she will come to the WC as a real joker.

What does she herself say about the WC?

- She is tough, you can see that in her.

She is not someone who needs competition experience in that way, we kind of have no pressure that she has to compete before she goes to championships.

As soon as she feels "fit for fight" we will drive.
