The final of the Japan Para Games, an international wheelchair rugby tournament, was held in Chiba, Japan, which won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympics, defeated France 57-54 to win the championship.

The Japan Para Wheelchair Rugby Tournament will be held for the first time in five years since 2018 due to the impact of the new coronavirus. Australia and France, ranked 5th in the world, played against each other.



After finishing first in the first round with 6 wins from 6 games, Japan will face France in the final, with the score tied 27-27 in the first half.



In the second half, Tomonobu IKE and Daisuke IKEZAKI, who contributed to winning the bronze medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, performed well, and won the match 57-54 to win the championship.
