Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said that his striker Erling Haaland can develop by watching his counterpart Harry Kane and learning from the Tottenham Hotspur top scorer, before the English Premier League champions visit their London rivals today, Sunday.

The 22-year-old Norwegian international scored his fourth hat-trick in the league this season during City’s 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, raising his tally to 25 goals in 19 matches, as he continued his amazing start to the competition.

But Guardiola believes that Haaland can improve in all aspects of the game by studying other players such as Kane, who has become Tottenham's top scorer in history, equal to Jimmy Greaves.

The Spanish coach added, “One of the qualities that struck me in Erling is that he realizes that he can improve in many aspects .. I am sure that maybe if he watches Harry Kane, but not only Harry necessarily, he can study other players as well, the best thing he can think of at his age otherwise he becomes It's boring."

Kane scored 16 goals in the league, the last of which was in a 1-0 win over Fulham on Monday, equaling the record of the late Graves with 266 goals with the club.

Guardiola added, "Harry Kane remains one of the best strikers I have seen in my life. What an exceptional player he is. His numbers indicate that, and greater than that is his quality.. Not winning a title does not mean that he is not a good player. I think he has already proven his skill."

The “Citizens” came from a two-goal deficit to a 4-2 victory over Tottenham at the “Etihad” stadium last month, and it ranks second with 45 points, 5 points behind Arsenal, while Tottenham has fifth place with 36 points.
