Brothers Mikael and Elias Ymer led the way with a victory each on Friday.

Which meant that Sweden only needed to win one of today's three matches to advance to the Davis Cup finals.

In the opening doubles, however, they went bet.

André Göransson and Elias Ymer were never really close to threatening their Bosnian opponents Mirza Basic and Tomislav Brkic, losing in straight sets, 6–4, 6–2.

In today's first single, it went all the better.

Mikael Ymer lost the second set clearly 6–1 after winning the first with the same numbers, but in the third there was never any talk of the matter.

Ymer broke Damir Dzumhur's serve relatively immediately and then the 197-ranked Bosnian couldn't get up again.

Ymer eventually won the deciding set 6–3.

A total of 16 nations are participating in the world finals.

In addition to the twelve qualifying winners, last year's finalists (Australia and Canada) are also qualified, as well as Italy and Spain, who have each been awarded a wild card.
