No Swedish cross-country skier had won three straight distance competitions in the World Cup, but now Ebba Andersson is historic.

The 25-year-old from Sollefteå won the freestyle race over ten kilometers in Toblach in superior style, 13 seconds ahead of Jessie Diggins.

Andersson took the lead after two kilometers and held it all the way to the finish line.

Ingvild Flugstad Östberg finished third behind Jessie Diggins.

Frida Karlsson had a slightly harder day in her first competition after the Tour de Ski victory and finished 51 seconds behind Ebba Andersson.
