Now over half a season has been played since tackles were allowed in the SDHL.

Women's crowns' federation captain Ulf Lundberg sees only advantages in the change.

- I think it is very positive.

It will be a much more natural melee game.

I also see that creativity is rewarded.

You have to have a thought when you go into situations.

You also have to protect yourself.

What I see in North America is very similar to how it is played in the SDHL.

I know that most of the players really want it that way, he says.

The fact that it is not the same rules that apply in the national team can cause problems, says Lundberg.

- I see that it is very difficult for the judges to put a level, what is expulsion and what is not?

Lundberg thinks that the Women's Crowns are good at the physical game and he therefore believes that a change also in the national team ice hockey would benefit the Women's Crowns in the future.

- I actually think so.

It will definitely benefit the sport and we are well ahead in introducing it, he says.

Next week, the Women's Crowns play a five-nation tournament in Germany.

It is the last tournament before the WC in Canada in April.
