Mansour bin Mohammed adopts the 2023-2033 strategy to develop the sports sector

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, affirmed the adoption of a sustainability approach in all areas of sports work, in accordance with the approach of wise leadership and in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, who announced the selection of 2023 as the year of sustainability. .


His Highness said, "The choice of His Highness the President of the State in 2023 as the Year of Sustainability under the slogan (Today for Tomorrow) embodies the state's approach and the vision of its wise leadership in various aspects of life, foremost of which is securing the future of future generations through comprehensive initiatives in all fields, including sustainability and resource conservation, and we will work to Implementing the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, in promoting sustainability in the sports sector, in order to contribute to leaving a great and rich legacy for future generations, and strengthening the country's leading position in the field of humanitarian initiatives and preserving people's lives.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also stressed that the year 2023 will also be a distinguished year in terms of performance and launch of initiatives, and that it will witness the achievement of greater achievements at the level of gross domestic product and the launch of initiatives aimed at strengthening the position of sport in Dubai's society and economy and strengthening Dubai's position on the global sports map.
