Elin Rönnlund opened strongly in the SM race over 10 kilometers in freestyle and was in the lead at 5.8 kilometers.
The 26-year-old had twelve seconds to spare on second-placed Moa Ilar.

She crossed the finish line in 23:55.3 and won nine seconds ahead of Ilar.
