For his part, Saeed Hareb said: "This championship is an extension of the World Badminton Championships, which Dubai was the first to host, as four world championships were held in the Hamdan Sports Complex. The finals of the world championships were held for four consecutive years."
Saeed Hareb added: “Badminton sports enjoys great interest in the Emirates in general, and in Dubai in particular, as it is an Olympic sport, and international players have taken it as their headquarters to prepare for the Olympics by training in our sports facilities designed according to the latest international specifications, and we hope that this tournament will inspire A number of young men and women of the country to practice and develop in it, leading to the honorable representation of the country in world championships and Olympic tournaments.

The tournament draw ceremony resulted in the division of the participating teams into four groups, with four teams in the first, second, and fourth groups, and five teams in the third group.
