AIK talent Yasin Ayari has long been rumored for the Premier League and Brighton.

And on Monday it finally became official that the midfielder is leaving Sweden for games in England and Brighton & Hove Albion.

- To AIK and to all our supporters, I want to start by saying a big thank you for incredible years.

AIK is my parent club and through all the years has nurtured me into the player I am today and has made me believe in my dreams.

The club's academy is completely unique, it develops talent so that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their full potential on equal terms, he says to AIK's website.

AIK's club director and interim sporting director Manuel Lindberg is happy about the transition.

- Yasin is a great talent who really showed his forefoot in the Allsvenskan during the past season.

When Yasin got the opportunity to come to the Premier League, it was obviously also a great desire on his part to take that opportunity, so I am happy for all parties that we could find a good solution together.

We obviously hope to give Yasin a warm welcome back to AIK in the future, he says.

The contract with Brighton extends over four and a half years and AIK receives between 20 and 40 million net, the club states.
