The Egyptian Federation prevents dealing with the president of Zamalek and refers him to the Disciplinary Committee

The Egyptian Football Association announced, on Sunday, that it would stop dealing with the president of Zamalek club, Mortada Mansour, and refer all his transgressions against the board of directors to the Disciplinary Committee, while the council reserves the right to escalate, if these transgressions continue.

The Federation’s board of directors, headed by Gamal Allam, issued an official statement after its emergency meeting, which included several decisions, most notably “addressing the Supreme Media Council, regarding the abuses issued by the Zamalek Club channel towards the Federation’s board of directors.”

The federation announced its refusal to accept the Disciplinary Committee’s apology “and adhere to its continuity in its work, as independent judicial and legal authorities,” noting in its statement that the presence of the Disciplinary Committee “establishes the principles of justice and discipline within the Egyptian football system, and the Council affirms all the powers of the disciplinary and ethical committee in accordance with the Discipline and Ethics Regulations, And his full support for the decisions you make.”

The Disciplinary Committee, headed by Counselor Mohamed Abdo Saleh, announced its resignation last Thursday, following offensive statements from the president of Zamalek Club through his club’s channel towards the committee, due to its request for him to appear for an investigation into the complaint submitted by Al-Ahly club regarding his transgression against the club’s board of directors and its players after the summit match that ended with Al-Ahly winning 3-0. In the fourteenth stage.

On the other hand, the Federation announced the approval of the request of the Minister of Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, to settle the dues of the Portuguese duo, Carlos Queiroz, former coach of the Egyptian national team, and English referee Mark Clattenburg, former head of the Egyptian Referees Committee, after reviewing the administrative authority.
