The two continental confederations also agreed to invite four women's national teams from the South American federations to the 2024 CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup, a women's soccer competition in the North, Central America and Caribbean region.

In addition, a new club competition will be held for the first time in 2024, where a total of 4 teams, 2 teams from both continental confederations, will participate to determine the strongest club in the Americas.
