Before the sprint in French Les Rousses, Johannes Hösflot Kläbo had won four out of five World Cup sprints.

But home jump Richard Jouve ensured that Kläbo got their second second place of the season with a really tight race.

Edvin Anger accompanied Kläbo all the way to the final after he, as usual, chose to be in the same quarter-final as the Norwegian.

Anger led the whole race and was passed by Kläbo who won and both advanced to the semi.

It was somewhat the same in the semi-finals, with the difference that Richard Jouve also passed Anger on the run.

But Anger advanced to the final with the best time, his third final of the season.

There it was fourth place for Anger, just like in Lillehammer.

Two Swedes in the semi-finals

Marcus Grate also advanced to the semi-finals.

But for the other two Swedes, Johan Häggström and Oskar Svensson, it was a pass in the quarter-finals where both came fourth in their respective heats.

Grate had a tougher time in his semi where he couldn't match Pål Golberg and Federico Pellegrino who came first and second.

Grate came fourth in the semi.
