Ukraine and its president Volodymyr Zelenskyy really don't want that.
Not after Russia invaded Ukraine just under a year ago.

Ukrainian Sports Minister Vadim Guttsait has previously said that Ukraine does not rule out an Olympic boycott if Russian and Belarusian athletes are allowed to participate.
Russian Foreign Minister Maria Zakharova says that "any attempt to keep Moscow out of international sports is doomed to failure."
