Ebba Årsjö thus won her second straight WC gold in two days.

Yesterday she won the super-G and today she was superior in the super combination.

The Swede led by 2.76 before the slalom and looked to be heading for a sure victory.

But it stopped in the middle of the hill and the Swede was forced to climb up the hill to take the gate on the right side.

A push followed and the Swede not only managed to win but even increased the margin and won by a whopping 3.16 in the finish.

It was a difficult piste to master where the start of the competition was postponed so that the slope could be prepared.

They had to collect snow from the super-G slope to replenish the slalom course.

Årsjö had problems with the substrate.

- It was more difficult than I had thought, the skis shot away.

I still managed and fought, said the Swede in the victory interview afterwards.

Årsjö's WC success thus continues.

Yesterday she won the gold in the Super-G by 4.15 seconds ahead of the German Andrea Rothfuss.

Årsjö also won Paralympics gold in the super combination.
