Yesterday the men's slalom was decided in Kitzbühel.

Austrian Manuel Feller was last out and went for the win at home.

But the 30-year-old ran out and the victory went to Daniel Yule.

The aftermath has been about the television production.

Feller had to wait a strangely long time before the last ride.

NRK states that he stood in the goal net for over two minutes and waited.

The reason was that the production wanted to build excitement for the home audience, says Norwegian star Henrik Kristofferssen.

- He has to wait a very long time because they want to create drama.

Then comes the nervousness, says Kristofferssen to NRK.

"Should have let him go"

The Norwegian profile, which came fifth in the competition, does not like the move.

- I don't understand the Austrians.

They shouldn't have kept him up there so long.

They should have released him immediately.

It was no wonder he drove out.

Lucas Braathen, third in the race, is surprised to learn how long Feller waited.

- It is a very long time.

It's like... well, it should have been closer to a minute, I think, says the Norwegian.

Defends himself: "Wants to build drama"

Michael Kögler, producer for the competition, defends himself.

- We want to build drama and make good television.

We want to show excitement and intensity, he says and states that they acted the same way in previous competitions in Kitzbühel.
