This training session was held by volunteers involved in baseball in Kanagawa Prefecture in order to prevent children from giving up the game due to injury, as the population of baseball players is declining.



On the 22nd, about 350 people, including youth baseball leaders, gathered at the venue in Minami Ward, Yokohama City, and received explanations from experts about injuries that are likely to occur while playing baseball.



At the seminar, Dr. Tetsuya Yamazaki, who is familiar with shoulder and elbow injuries in children, explained that in growing children, even if there is no pain, inflammation of the cartilage in the elbow progresses and symptoms such as difficulty bending the elbow remain.
