The departure of the striker Abu Bakr from the Saudi victory

Al-Nasr, the competitor in the Saudi Professional Football League, announced the departure of its Cameroonian striker, Vincent Abu Bakr, to open the door for Cristiano Ronaldo to be registered in his list and participate in the next match against Al-Ettifaq on Sunday.

Al-Nasr said in a brief statement on his Twitter account, "Vincent Abu Bakr... Thank you. We wish you success."

Al-Nasr did not specify the next destination for Abu Bakr, who scored two goals with Cameroon in the last World Cup in Qatar, including the winning goal against Brazil at the end of the group stage.

But the media said that the 30-year-old striker will return to Besiktas, Turkey, for a third period with the team.

Abu Bakr previously played for the Turkish club in the 2020-2021 season, scoring 15 goals in 26 matches, and he also played with him on loan in the 2016-2017 season, scoring 12 goals in 27 matches.

Al-Nasr needed to give up one of its foreign players to register Ronaldo, who will officially participate with the team in front of Al-Ettifaq in the league on Sunday.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr at the beginning of this month after terminating his contract with Manchester United due to his criticism of the club’s management and coach.

Ronaldo did not participate with his new team because he was suspended for being sent off in a match in England, but his first participation was in an exhibition match that included Al-Nasr Stars and Al-Hilal against Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday.

Ronaldo scored two goals, but the Riyadh season team lost 5-4 to the French champion, who was led by the trio Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Last night, Al-Nasr announced its contract with Nawaf Bushel, Al-Fateh player.

The club said on Twitter, "The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Club, Mosli Al Muammar, signed with Al-Fateh player Nawaf Bushel until 2027. The remaining period in the player's contract with Al-Fateh was bought."

The 23-year-old Bushel trained with the team in preparation for facing Al-Ettifaq.
