He coordinated his life and focus on jet ski racing, as he transformed into the sport’s global stardom in just three years.

Al-Awadi confirmed to "Emirates Today" that he started practicing sports in 2019, explaining: "I learned this sport with the encouragement of my father, who has a major role in the historical achievement that I achieved, as I faced difficulties at the beginning because of my excessive weight and was subjected to" bullying ", which contributed In not getting any advanced positions when I started participating.

He added: «In 2020 and 2021 there were no races due to the Corona pandemic, but I did not stop and strived to get rid of my excess weight, and I trained intensively under the leadership of champion Salman Al-Awadi, who holds world titles in water cycling, as he trained me and developed my level until I reached an excellent stage that qualified me. to participate in international tournaments.

On reconciling sports and studies, he said: "I am in the 11th grade, and despite that, my studies were not affected at all, and I was able to reconcile them, as there are times for studying and going to school, and other times for training and participating in tournaments."

And he stressed that the most prominent difficulties he faces are related to the very expensive material aspect of this sport, and he explained: “The cost of participating in one round in an external championship exceeds 70 thousand dirhams, and the cost of participating in a local championship for two people exceeds 10 thousand dirhams.”

Al-Awadi (16 years) said that his global achievement last year was not easy, as he participated for the first time in the World Championship in the United States in 2021, and finished third, then in 2022 he came first in the Poland tour, and fell to ninth place in the America’s tour, and third in the Tour of America. Thailand, during which he was involved in an accident, but despite this he maintained his first place in the overall standings, and was crowned the "Champion of the World Champions", in a great achievement amid the participation of some of the best stars of the game in the world.

Regarding his future ambitions, he said that he hopes to continue participating in various competitions, and to obtain support and sponsorship from one of the Emirates clubs, since all his previous achievements were at his own expense and with the support of his father, Mahmoud Al-Awadi, stressing that if he gets good support This will contribute to his transfer to larger categories of water sports, such as boats and others.
