The spectator hissed and provoked Djokovic, 35, throughout the match.

To the point that others in the audience started shouting "shut up", something the Serbs appreciated and thanked for - images that spread on social media (see at the beginning of the clip at the top of the article).

But the man in the stands didn't give in - and Djokovic ended up having to confront the referee to try and get him kicked out of the arena.

- You know who it is.

He is very drunk and has provoked me from the first point tonight, says Djokovic in the conversation with the judges that was caught by the television cameras.

Djokovic won 3–1 in sets (6-1, 6-7, 6-2, 6-0) and faces Grigor Dimitrov in the next round.
