Ferran Torres, the Barcelona striker, resorted to a psychiatrist to help him overcome the current stage, in which he is suffering from a significant drop in level, and for that he was subjected to harsh criticism from the team's fans.
Since his arrival in Barcelona from Manchester City in January 2022 for 55 million euros, Torres has not appeared as required.
And the Spanish newspaper "Sport" confirmed that Torres lacks confidence and makes mistakes that are not appropriate for a player of the caliber of adults and plays in a team like Barcelona.

Despite his modest level, the newspaper confirmed that Torres, 22, gets full support from the club's coaching staff, headed by coach Xavi Hernandez, who hopes that the player will get out of his current crisis as soon as possible.
Torres participated in only 57 minutes in the two Spanish Super Cup matches against Real Betis and Real Madrid, respectively, noting that the first match extended to extra runs.
During these minutes, Torres was almost completely absent, as if Barcelona played with an incomplete number, and also caused the cancellation of a “Barca” goal that was enough to end his confrontation against Betis in the semi-finals, without the need for the two additional halves, because he was in an offside position.

Despite this, Torres lifted the Spanish Super Cup with his teammates, following the deserved victory over Real Madrid in the final, 3-1, on January 15, 2023, in a match that the player completely missed.
Since his arrival in Barcelona, Torres has played 48 matches in all competitions, during which he scored 12 goals, and gave his teammates 7 assists.
In the current season 2022-2023, Torres appeared in the Barcelona shirt in 22 matches, scoring only 5 goals, most notably against Real Madrid in the Spanish League, which is the “El Clasico”, which the “Blaugrana” lost 1-3, and provided a single assist.
