With the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympics just a year away, the mascot and theme song for the event were released for the first time.
The mascot that will brighten up youth festivals around the world has been unveiled for the first time.
The mascot name is 'Mungcho'.
It has a story that the snowball that Soohorang and Bandabi, the mascots of the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, were having a snowball fight was reborn ahead of the Youth Olympics.
Also, the theme song 'We Go High' was released along with choreography by domestic and foreign teenagers.
Yu-na Kim, the public relations ambassador for the Gangwon Youth Olympics, also attended and prayed for the success of the event.
