The launch of the first phase of the Asian training course

The first phase of the Asian Training Course (AFC A Diploma) for coaches out of five phases, which is organized by the Football Association in cooperation with the Asian Football Confederation, kicked off yesterday in Dubai until May 12, 2023. This course comes within the framework of the Technical Management Program of the Football Association for the 2022-2022 sports season. 2023, according to an educational methodology approved by the AFC, which aims to develop and qualify coaches holding an Asian license (B) to obtain the highest certificate for training the first team in clubs and national teams.

The course topics, which are supervised by Emirati lecturers Jamal Ali Al-Hassani and Abdul Majeed Ibrahim Al-Nimr, include a number of theoretical and practical lectures that deal with the responsibilities of the coach and the various training methods, communication skills with players and reading and analyzing performance, in addition to the responsibilities of the attacking players and the roles of the defensive players in the cases of attack and defense, and maintaining Offensive play in the midfield area and the offensive third area, and factors for the team's strategic planning during the match.

It is noteworthy that this course is the first of its kind in the new system followed by the Football Association, as there will be five stages divided into the first five months of the year, until May 2023, and there will be visits and follow-ups for the coaches participating in the course while they are working in the clubs to which they belong.

It is worth noting that the second phase of the Asian Games will be held from February 13 to 17.
