Linn Svahn makes a comeback in the World Cup after a long absence due to a shoulder injury.

She is on the squad for Livigno, where sprints and sprint relays are on the schedule.

Jonna Sundling is also in the squad after missing several World Cup competitions due to illness.

- We are getting several of our sprint stars back and it will be really exciting to see them against tough opposition, says national team manager Anders Byström in a statement.

National team manager Anders Byström has previously said that Linn Svahn must perform in the World Cup in order to be selected for the WC, where four sprinters are already selected: Jonna Sundling, Maja Dahlqvist, Johanna Hagström and Emma Ribom.

After Livigno, only one World Cup weekend in French Les Rousses remains before the World Cup squad is selected.

There is thus much at stake for Linn Svahn, who during the season only participated in national competitions.

In the Scandinavian Cup in Falun this weekend, she only reached the semi-finals, but said herself that the big reason for that was the skis.
