Linn Svahn made a comeback in December, almost a year and a half after she injured her shoulder at the WC in Oberstdorf 2021.

In her comeback, she won a sprint competition in Idre, and the following week it was third place in the Scandinavian Cup in Östersund.

She has since rested from competing, but today made her first appearance since Östersund.

But it was not a success.

In the prologue she "only" had the 14th best time, and was beaten by Ebba Andersson, Linn Sömskar and eleven Norwegians.

She then progressed from the quarter-finals, but in the semi-finals it stopped.

After about half the race she was fourth, but on the last hill she ended up in a bad position and fell to fifth place.

In the sprint, she was alone in a track, but did not pass anyone and thus finished fifth and thus missed the final.
