Ida Dahl has dominated Ski Classics this winter, and won all competitions in the long-distance cup.

At the beginning of December, she made her debut in the "regular" World Cup and, not only that, the 26-year-old was also selected for the Tour de Ski.

After some really good efforts in the World Cup and in the tour, the big star chose to drop out after four stages - to be ready for the weekend's two long races.

Something that might have been needed?

- I've been a bit tired since the Tour de Ski, so I've taken it quite easy, she says.

Was it a good decision to go on the tour?

- I don't know, but I would probably do it again, it's still a fun and cool thing to do.

But it's always hard to know, nothing I regret anyway.

Now the long-distance specialist aims for double victories.

- Everything depends on how the race on Saturday turns out, says Dahl.

SVT broadcasts Ski Classics in Italy starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
