About two-thirds into the race there was a quintet, with the Swedes Emil Persson and Oskar Kardin, as well as three Norwegians.

When they got to the race, they were still bunched up, with Persson - who had two straight victories with him before the race in Italy - in the lead.

"I am super satisfied"

And Persson also controlled the sprint, and was the first to finish and is thus still undefeated this season.

- I am super satisfied with this start to the season, he told SVT Sport, where he clearly showed his satisfaction:

- It was bloody good!

Always fun to win of course.

“Incredibly impressive”

SVT Sports expert Britta Johansson Norgren was also impressed.

- Incredibly impressive of Emil to take three in a row.

He looked so calm at the end, says Britta Johansson Norgren.

When Persson crossed the finish line, he was nine tenths ahead of Norwegian Andreas Nygård.

Third was Kasper Stadås.

Even on the women's side, there were the same winners as in the first two competitions this winter.

About halfway into the race, Ida Dahl had taken a big lead of over a minute and a half, and when the finish line was completed, the distance to the runner-up was Emilie Fleten, Norway.
