Hwang Hee-chan started and played for 73 minutes as Wolverhampton beat West Ham and escaped the relegation zone.

Wolverhampton won West Ham 1-0 in the 20th round of the league home match at Wolverhampton Molineux.

After adding three points, Wolverhampton climbed out of the relegation zone by moving from 19th to 16th in the league.

Hwang Hee-chan started as a striker on the right side and actively moved around the ground, going back and forth on the left and right sides, but failed to record an attack point and was replaced in the 28th minute of the second half with a 1-0 lead.

Wolverhampton's winning goal was scored by Podense in the 3rd minute of the second half.

In a counterattack situation, Matheus crossed the front line towards Hwang Hee-chan, but the defense cleared it, and Podense directly connected the ball with a shot, shaking the net.

Wolverhampton subsequently held off West Ham's attack without conceding a goal and kept the victory by one goal.
