This happened after RUSADA acquitted Valieva in the case of the use of illegal drugs.

The figure skater avoided sanctions, except for the cancellation of her results at the time of sampling, according to the press service of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Valieva won the gold of the Chechen Republic-2021 in St. Petersburg.

The second place went to Alexandra Trusova, the third was Anna Shcherbakova.

On January 13, the RUSADA Disciplinary Committee decided to acquit Valieva, who is suspected of using illegal drugs.

After the victory of the Russian team in the team tournament of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, it became known that a doping test of a 16-year-old Russian woman dated December 25, 2021 tested positive for trimetazidine.
