The winner of that confrontation is scheduled to meet CONCACAF champions Seattle, USA.

In the semi-finals, Real Madrid (European Champion) will play the winner of the match between American Seattle and the winner of the Al-Ahly-Auckland City match.

While Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia (the Asian champion) will play with Moroccan Wydad (the African champion who participates in the tournament as the representative of the organizing country), provided that the winner of them meets the Brazilian Flamengo in the semi-finals.

The tournament is being held for the third time in Morocco, after the 2013 and 2014 editions.
