Leo Komarov's push towards the referee came at the end of the match and before that it had been a bit rough in front of Färjestad's goal.

The forward was reported to the disciplinary board, which suspends the 35-year-old for two games.

"According to the Disciplinary Committee, it has been investigated that Leo Komarov was guilty of physical abuse of officials in the manner described in the report.

The offense is punishable and should lead to a suspension," writes the disciplinary committee in the judgment.

Leo Komarov will therefore miss Saturday's SHL match at home against Växjö and Tuesday's CHL semi-final return against Frölunda.

Luleå won the match against Färjestad after Brendan Shinnimin scored 5–4 in extra time.
